• NASA API Key (Optional): If you choose to add your personal NASA API key in settings, it's stored locally on your device only.
• Cache Data: Downloaded images and APOD data are cached locally on your device for offline viewing.

Information We DON'T Collect

• No personal identification information
• No location data
• No usage analytics
• No advertising identifiers
• No data shared with third parties

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. We don't have servers that collect or store your information. Your cached images and preferences never leave your device.

Third-Party Services

CosmicDaily uses the official NASA APOD API to fetch daily astronomy images. When you use the app:

• Requests are made directly from your device to NASA's servers
• NASA may log standard web request information (like IP addresses)
• Please refer to NASA's Privacy Policy for their data practices

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it's protected by iOS's built-in security features including:

• Device encryption
• Secure enclave
• App sandboxing
